‘You are so chirpy I hate you!’
Sometimes I feel like there’s always somebody muttering this behind my back.
Ok, I know that I can be pretty oblivious to my surrounding (and maybe that’s why I can afford to be chirpy). I know that there’s a lot of hu-ha going on with Malaysian politics. But I figured out, if you are not politicians and I am not politicans, and there’s only that many politicians anywhere in this world – why do we need to bother so much? Is it so wrong then, for me to focus my energy on something more fruitful? Am I committing a crime for not letting myself be swept away by this whole ‘drama swasta’? (and I never watch any drama swasta in the TV either, but that’s not the point)
I mean there’s only a few people up there in the political highland. Does the rest of the world need to stop because they decide to star in their very own ’soap opera’? Does that mean we are incapable of speaking about anything else now?
If you said YES, than that’s why you are such a goner. Because, that’s the trap and you falling right through it.
